For the launch of the all-new Slackbot AI companion, Silverside partnered with Slack to evolve their iconic mascot into a fully animated character for the very first time—bringing Slackbot to life in a playful, coming-of-age story that highlighted major new AI features.

Using our proprietary production tools and custom-trained models on Slackbot's likeness, we created a series of scenes built entirely within Slack's brand guidelines. This allowed us to animate the mascot with consistency, charm, and precision—capturing its recognizable look while introducing motion, expression, and growth.

From concept to final delivery, the project moved from idea to a fully animated launch spot in just two weeks. The film blends storytelling with real product UI integrations, using AI-generated animation and carefully directed performances to balance clarity and fun.

The result is an adorable, character-driven launch that celebrates a major moment for Slack—showcasing new AI capabilities while staying true to the brand's tone and spirit.
